Kaje and I, we are here, it is 1 in the morning, we are singing random beatles lyrics, we are tired, and the cat is ignoring us. Its a good life. jude jud jud judy judy judy!!!

Today is Rob's Birthday! And since he has to work today, we celebrated his birthday yesterday with an extravagant dinner at TGI Fridays with the gift card we had saved. Thank you everyone for the cards and gifts :-) Yesterday was lazy, he's been working every other day this week so its hard to get things done other than straightening up at night. We did make a last trip to Bed Bath and Beyond for the gift registry linens, and then headed over to Target where Rob scanned lots of things into the registry just for fun, only to delete them. We had our last grocery shopping outing in Chicago, since we are gone in about 2 weeks, and I once again amazed Rob with my uncanny ability to accurately account for the amount we spent before we get to the register. AH the things you learn in college.

Anyways, we've been slowly ticking away at wedding details, and I believe as of tomorrow we are exactly 3 months away, and I'm freaking out a little bit. It seems like there is so much to do, and we are only going to get busier in the next few months, Thank God, and we have so little money to put deposits down on anything we need in advance. I've been doing alot of praying to God to help provide what we need, and help me realize what we don't and to be satisfied with it. Its the big prayer in all our lives I guess.

We anxiously await my camera getting fixed so we can post lovely lovely pictures of us, our little room, and dexter, who is sleeping across my arms right now and is making it difficult to type. He can't be comfy though because his back legs are hanging off my stomach, making him pretty much standing while he's sleeping to support his weight. I continue to say "his" even though Dexter is a girl. I had a creepy dream about Dexter having kittens last night, but I won't go into detail for fear it will gross you all out.

I'll end with HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROBERT!!!!

Ok a blog, I am now writing one. So things have been interesting, and a bit frustrating as well. I think I should be officially in forbearance be the end of the week so the calls should stop to everyone shortly, sorry about that. Moving on, it looks like I'll have work for the summer or at least most of it, its a little bittersweet as I have mentioned because there is a documentary film maker that wants me to edit for him, the only problem is that it is in Alexandria Virginia, which is not cheap, and it wouldn't be full time. If he can lock down funding for three more projects in development then there would be enough work for me, but that's a big if. They say the recession isn't hitting has hard there as it is everywhere else so there is a chance we could both find work which would be awesome. So in closing cross your fingers.

Today was a weird day- we slept in late and I was the first one up, because Noah called me and tried to talk to me while I was semi-awake, not a good idea! Rob thought he had the day off, turns out he was on the schedule and had tomorrow off so we had to shift a few plans around. Finally I got up and started working on my taxes. Rob didn't have to be at work until 4pm, which was kind of bad because it means he won't get out until after midnight. Gross. Anyways, I spent a few hours making sure I got every bit of money back that I could, and then sent it out via E-file. I need to help Rob with his taxes because he has never done them, but we are still waiting on 2 of his w2s. Since the Big 10 didn't take out Federal Income Tax, he's going to end up owing money, hopefully it won't be too much- at least not anything I can't cover with my refund. The other jobs he had took taxes out, so it might even things out a little.

I spent some time working out more wedding details. I spoke with my mom and found out some relatives already got hotel rooms and I am getting excited for this. Also my dress should be here next week and I get to try it on with my shoes! Rob and I came up with a honeymoon time- since we won't be able to get the time off for a honeymoon while working on the farm, we decided to save up and take a honeymoon on our 1st anniversary in January, that way it will be off season and prices will be cheaper. Plus, we'll both be dying for some nice weather and a vacation, and God willing our wallets will be a little fatter too.

Some good news came today- a hotel bartending job I interviewed for a while back needed a sub for two weeks and called me, and I jumped at the chance, since its only 2 weeks over the few last weeks we are spending here, its a guaranteed 8 hours with decent hourly pay and opportunity for tips, and it will give me something to do while Rob is at work. I'm just glad to work a little bit and contribute.

Dexter is vying for my attention so I'm going to go. **Love**

Tuesday was St. Patty's day, and Rob had to work, so my friend Pam came up and we went to the park for a lovely picnic. It was the first time I really spent some time outside in awhile- it was 73 degrees, a warm wind blew in the air, and sunny. Perfect weather. I've missed nice weather so much, and it was great soaking up some sun and being outside. We took lots of pictures with Pam's new camera too. All the animals were out, and we took pictures of robins, squirrels, and chipmunks. There were tons of parents out with their little kids too, and it was funny to watch them run around. After it got late Pam and I went to a piano bar. It was my first time at one and it was so awesome- the guys playing the piano knew any and every song, played amazingly, and also jumped on the guitar, and drums. One girl even played the violin. I can't imagine being good at one instrument, seeing them excel at so many different ones made me feel a little failish.

Since it was St. Patrick's Day, this group came in and played bagpipes while this girl did Irish Jig style a la Riverdance on this board, and it was very impressive.

Sadly they had these $1 burgers there, which seemed like a great idea at the time, but gave me food poisoning. So Rob's day off yesterday? All that free time for me to have with my husband? I spent sleeping in bed. Boo. Today is better, but its cold, and Jordan is home, so I'm just laying low in our room with Dexter, researching soil testing and peppers. My intro class starts in 2 weeks, which should be sufficiently stupid as it is a required intro course on how to take online classes. My real classes won't begin until May, and Rob and I will have fun taking them together. Tomorrow's forecast? Chilly with a slight breeze of Bed Bath and Beyond in the air. We need to register for sheets.

Kaje and I had a lovely day today. First we woke up at like 7, now for all you normies this isn't a problem, but because I tend to work from 230 to 1 am I usually like to sleep till 10 at the earliest and burn the midnight oil, so we woke up then she went back to bed, but once I'm up that's the end of it. Oh well I got a lot of work done on my own sites while she slept. Anyway, when she got up she did a lot of work of her own, and we wrapped up around 330 and headed out. Our destination you ask? The jewelry store. That's right, the idiots at the jewelry store miss sized both her rings. Given the strange shape of her engagement ring it was technically the right size, so I have to pay for that one to get resized, but the band is still free, count the blessings I say. On the way back she introduced me to Boston Market, I had never been, and I must say it is wonderful. I had country fried chick with potatoes and green beans (awesome) and she had the same but instead of the beans she got corn (gay). After that it was off to Bed Bath and Beyond where we are attempting to finish our registry, I was outrageously annoyed at the idea till they gave me the gun, which I wielding as if it was a weapon, scanning everything in sight (only to have to hit the undo button realizing asking for a 500 dollar set of knives may be slightly inappropriate). Oh well though, she put up with me and I was mostly good throughout the whole thing. It is horror movie monday so we sifted through netflix found something about vampires, it was alright, but to long and little boring with a stupid ending (this is how horror movie nights usually turn out). In fact unless there is a 100 foot tall monster rampaging through the streets, I really dont care to much.

Kaje and I are just getting started with this whole marriage business and I like it. We have a lot of hardship to overcome without a doubt, we are in a terrible economic period and it makes it almost impossible to get work in our respective fields, or at least work for any long duration. It's cool though, we are both really smart, or at least she is, and we will find a way to get through it all. As you may have heard my job is going to drop to one day a week soon and we are scrambling for work, it looks like I may be back under the employ of my father for the summer months (not what I really wanted to do, but thank goodness I can be working). Beggars can't be choosers is dead on at the moment, like it or not. I like the kind of work I'll be doing, and hopefully Kaje can find some enjoyment in it for the short time we have to do it. She is a tough person so she might even enjoy herself. My bosses are hoping I come back in the fall, and depending on whats going on here, I may take them up on it, its good money for 7 months at least. I cant wait till the day I can put a full 12 together at one job. Well, we'll keep doing what we're doing, and hope to see everyone soon.

Well as everyone who is reading this knows, we are married. And since we aren't living with or near any of our families, and since we are so poor we don't have money to pay for large cell phone plans to call everyone constantly, and since we don't have the attention spans to email everyone constantly, we thought we'd put this blog up to keep everyone up to date on our latest and greatest.

Looks like we are heading out to Hamilton, OH to run a farm-more specifically, to sow and reap peppers. Kaje is looking forward to doing any sort of work, and will hopefully have a chance to get her new business underway. Rob is looking forward to doing work that doesn't require sitting on his butt 8 hours a day, and being out of the city. The Big 10 also wanted to know if he was coming back for the next season, so that's something we have to think about. And of course, wedding planning.
Rob's birthday is coming up, so don't forget birthday hugs and spankings on March 26. And our goal for the next month is to buy a camera or to get Kaje's fixed so that we can finally start taking pictures.

Other than the sickening trials of life, work, and money, we are enjoying our new marriage and are constantly finding new ways to annoy each other, which leads to new ways of making up. One thing we are looking forward to is finding a church we like, and maybe an earlier bedtime. And no roommate. And a bed that is any size but twin. So many good things are coming!

We love you all.
