So I just paid for a round trip ticket and hotel stay at Orlando. No, not for vacation. I found two auditions for DisneyWorld (the only ones coming up until October) and since Orlando is the golden land of opportunity at the moment, I thought now might be a good time to squeeze those in before I resign myself to yet another boring adult job. After much searching and researching, I found a round trip and 2 nights at a hotel close to the park with a free shuttle for $237 bucks. (Well, $247 but then I found a coupon that gave me another ten off...) Not bad, not bad.

Its been...lets see, Joseph was back in September...almost a year since I have auditioned for anything, and even longer since I've auditioned for anything professional. Thank God nothing requires singing this time, but I do need to have a short monologue prepared along with a headshot and resume. I need a new headshot.

Auditions suck, especially professional ones. Especially Disney ones. Inside the park, its the happiest place on earth. Just outside to the left, in the rehearsal facility, its the most traumatizing place on earth. Where adults go to cry. And still, I'm ecstatic to do something remotely productive towards my career again. Even though I have more than a glimmer of an idea that I'll be shot down immediately. Whatever. Rejection is just an occupational hazard.

Oh yeah. I leave on Wednesday.

Rob and I killing Zombies...

So we officially said no to DJing in Los Angeles, and no to Big Ten in Chicago, and are just crossing our fingers in hope that God has a plan for us and will reveal that plan in a timely manner. We are looking into the Orlando area so I can get back into theater-Disney arm has a large reach in that area with the theme park and cruise lines and such, and Rob can get decent film work or whatever else he decides to do. More importantly it will not get to negative 12 during the winter! So the job hunt has begun, and if anything exciting happens we will post! Other than that, its just living one day at a time on the farm, which is doing well, and trying to get this library thing off the ground and onto the money making boat. We really want a project or hobby to get into but there really isn't time right now! :-)

My computer is a piece, and add to that two annoying animals and you got a huge explosion. Long story short a cat fell of my desk behind my computer and knocked the sound card out while it was running and shorted the system out entirely, after a lot of tinkering and taking apart and reassembling I guessed that it might have just been the power supply. Luckily it was. I got a new one at Micro Center (AWESOME STORE, and a hot swap dock to check the integrity of all the hard drives. They were fine minus the fact that windows was corrupted beyond recovery. Also luckily i had installed a a key logger on my desk top and recovered my XP code so i was able to reinstall the OS and get it working but it took till right now and I am still transferring files....... lame.

So we tuned into the CRC webcast channel and were trying to watch the youth group service today and an ad pops up on the bottom of the screen, a somewhat sketchy ad, so we clicked on it and this happened.
